He currently serves as the Vice President of Strategy, Marketing, and Partnerships at NEX Team, a mobile artificial intelligence company comprised of seasoned, former Apple, Google, and Facebook engineers and second-time entrepreneurs. NEX Team is known for the launch of HomeCourt, a basketball training App that uses the latest mobile Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to record, track, and chart shots for basketball players in real-time.
With his extensive experience in the tech industry, including notable roles at Uber, Newsela, and Quora, Alex brings valuable insights and expertise to our summit. He has led product marketing efforts at Uber, helping to bring affordable transportation options to thousands of small and medium-sized businesses all over the world. At Quora, he led a variety of efforts including product launches, the creation of Quora's Top Writer program, syndication partnerships with top media sites like Time and BBC, and signing up public figures like President Barack Obama and Jeremy Lin.
Alex is also a Managing Partner at Cavalier Venture Partners, a venture capital firm with a focus on early and late-stage technology and healthcare investments.
