Anant Bhardwaj is a distinguished entrepreneur and technologist, currently serving as the Founder and CEO of Instabase, a platform that enables businesses to build custom applications for automating different parts of their business. Since its inception in September 2015, Anant has been instrumental in steering the company's vision and technology roadmap.
Prior to founding Instabase, Anant was deeply involved in academic research, serving as a Research Assistant at MIT's Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) from September 2012 to August 2015. During his time at MIT, he was part of the Haystack and Database Groups, contributing to cutting-edge research in the field of computer science.
Anant's industry experience also includes two stints as a Research Intern at Google, where he was part of the Search Team. His first role at Google spanned from May to August 2013, and he returned for a second term from June to September 2014. Before diving into academia and research, Anant worked as a Product Developer at BMC Software for over three years, focusing on their Marimba product line.
In terms of educational credentials, Anant holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from MIT, although he has been on leave since September 2015 to focus on Instabase. He also earned a Master of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
