June Paik is a visionary entrepreneur and technologist, currently serving as the Founder & CEO of FuriosaAI. Since January 2017, he has been at the forefront of developing next-generation AI chips that promise to revolutionize the artificial intelligence hardware landscape.
Before founding FuriosaAI, June amassed a wealth of experience in hardware and software engineering. He worked as a Hardware Engineer at Samsung Electronics from January 2013 to May 2016, where he was based in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do, Korea, and focused on storage systems. Prior to that, he was a Software Engineer at AMD for nearly three years, working on MultiGPU software in the Orlando, Florida area.
Educationally, June holds a Master's degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he also completed his undergraduate studies in Electrical Engineering. His academic background provides a strong foundation for his current role, combining both hardware and software expertise to drive innovation in AI technology.
