Currently, he serves as the Head of Ecosystem Funding at the Algorand Foundation, where he has been instrumental in investing in top-tier builders on the Algorand blockchain since January 2021. Based in Singapore, his role is pivotal in shaping the future of decentralized finance and blockchain technology.
Before joining Algorand, Ryan held a dual role as a Research Associate at the Centre for Technology and Global Affairs at Oxford University, focusing on policy and regulation within blockchain research. His work in this capacity has been ongoing since May 2018 and is based in Oxford, United Kingdom.
Ryan's advisory roles are equally noteworthy. He has been an Advisor at Coil since January 2020, contributing to the global phenomenon of web monetization. Concurrently, he has been advising Aptoide since October 2017, leveraging his expertise in app store operations and digital payments for the AppCoins project.
