Tim Shi is the Co-Founder and CTO of Cresta, an AI-focused company that aims to make humans significantly more productive. Founded in 2017 and backed by renowned investors like Sequoia, Greylock, and a16z, Cresta has developed platforms like Agent Copilot to offer real-time suggestions and coaching for contact center agents. The company has also deployed GPT-based generative AI systems for Fortune 500 clients. Prior to Cresta, Tim has had stints at OpenAI, DJI Research, Dropbox, and Microsoft Research Asia. He left his PhD program in machine learning at Stanford University in 2018 to focus on his entrepreneurial endeavors.
